Bradley Vilsaint's path to founding VS Health Benefits was anything but typical, and that is exactly what makes his approach different. He began his career in public service, working as a service aid for his local police department. It taught him discipline and a respect for showing up for the people in your community, but he quickly realized it was not the future he wanted to build.
So he bet on himself. With no formal training and a lot of determination, Bradley taught himself technology and built a self-made career in the tech world. He learned how to solve problems, how to build things from scratch, and how to keep going when the path was not laid out for him. Then came a setback that changes a lot of people: he was laid off.
Instead of seeing it as a dead end, Bradley saw it as a turning point. He kept coming back to one thing that had always defined him, his genuine care for people and a personality that puts others at ease. He wanted work that mattered, work that helped real families and individuals improve their lives. That search led him to healthcare and health insurance, and to a problem he could not unsee: good people were overpaying, underinsured, or simply lost in a system that was never built to be clear.
Bradley Vilsaint founded VS Health Benefits to fix that. He took the grit from his tech years, the heart from his time in public service, and the empathy that has always been at his core, and he poured all of it into building a brokerage that treats every client like a person, not a policy number.
